Where Pro stops and Business starts
Connect Xero to sync invoices, payments and supplier bills to your accounting system.
That is the line between the two plans: it is what Pro will not switch on. It is also a desk feature, so nobody in the field notices either way — which is why it sits here rather than something your crew would feel.
Business also raises the ceilings: Team seats becomes unlimited; Active jobs becomes unlimited; AI receipt scans goes from 100 to 500 scans; AI document imports goes from 25 to 100 imports.

No field sales team, no implementation fee, no per-module pricing, and a stack built this decade rather than kept alive since 2009. The price is what is left once those are gone — not an introductory rate, and not a stripped-back edition.
Quoting, scheduling, the field app, timesheets, job costing, procurement, compliance and approvals are in the box on both plans. Nothing is held back to sell you later, and there is no per-device charge for the phone app.
A first-year apprentice costs the same as the operations manager. A system half the business is priced out of is a system nobody ends up trusting, so there is no cheaper read-only tier to ration the crew into.
The words Tax Invoice, your ABN, GST on its own line and BSB and account for payment, on every invoice. Quote and invoice lines snapshot your price book, so raising your rates never rewrites what you already sent. And nothing goes out without the sign-off you set.
That last one is the part worth paying for. Worksted is where the money is recorded, so the numbers being right is not a feature — it is the job.
The things worth knowing up front, including the two most people find out the hard way.
14 days with your real clients, sites and rates in it answers more than any pricing page can. If you are moving a team across, a call is usually faster — twenty minutes, your actual jobs on screen.
