Tell us what’s not working.

Nearly everything that reaches us is one of five things, and four of them you can put right yourself in the next two minutes. The fifth is ours — email us and a person reads it.

Start with the symptom.

Find the line that sounds like your afternoon. Each one goes straight to the screen that fixes it.

  • “I can’t get in — my password won’t work.”

Reset it from the login screen and we’ll email you a link. If nothing arrives in a few minutes, check your junk folder — it comes from the same address as the rest of your Worksted mail. Still nothing, and it’s one for us.

    Reset your password
  • “My client never got the invoice.”

Open the invoice and check the email address on the client first — that is the usual culprit. Correct it, then use Send again on the invoice itself. If the address is right and it still isn’t landing, send us the invoice number and we’ll trace the delivery from our end.

    Open your invoices
  • “Someone on my crew can’t see a screen they need.”

That’s their role doing its job. Roles decide what each person can open and act on, and an owner or admin can change one from Team. Have them reload after the change and the screen appears.

    Open your team
  • “I need a copy of what you charged us.”

Billing holds your plan, how many people are on it, and every invoice we have issued you — all downloadable. Owners and admins can see it; if you can’t, ask whoever set the account up.

    Open billing
  • “Something is plain broken, or a number looks wrong.”

That one is ours. Write to us with the job, quote or invoice number, what you expected to see and what you actually saw. That is usually enough for us to reproduce it without a day of back-and-forth.

Already signed in? Look for the small ? beside a screen’s heading — it explains that screen, in the app, without leaving what you were doing.

What to include

  • The business name on your account.
  • The job, quote or invoice number it happened on.
  • What you expected, and what happened instead.
  • A screenshot, if it is something you can see.
  • Whether it is stopping you invoicing — say so and it goes to the front.

What happens next

  1. 1

Your email lands in a real inbox that people read, Monday to Friday, Australian Eastern time.

  2. 2

You get a reply from a person within one business day — usually the same day.

  3. 3

If it turns out to be a bug, we tell you when it is fixed rather than leaving you to check.

Email rather than a form, on purpose. A form can swallow a message and neither of us would know; an email either lands or bounces, you keep a copy in your sent items, and you can attach the screenshot that explains it in one go.
